This role is ideal for multilingual carers (Greek, Italian, Mandarin, Cantonese or Arabic) looking to work across Sydney’s Inner West, Inner City and Canterbury-Bankstown communities. Wide variety of shifts available at least two weekday availability of around 7am- 5pm What we're looking for: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or equivalent is a MUST. Experience in either aged care, disability, community is ideal. Strong communication and observational skills Patience, reliability, and a gentle approach to care Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle (essential) Highly desirable if you speak an additional language in addition to English either Italian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese or Arabic. Role responsibilities: Support Out of Hospital Care clients to live well at home by providing personal care with dignity, including assistance with showering, grooming and dressing. You’ll also help with domestic tasks, meal preparation and offer companionship that truly makes a difference.
